Job summary

Morgan McKinley (South West) is seeking a Payroll & Pensions Officer to join our finance team, supporting payroll for around 750 employees across seven monthly payrolls. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely pay, while supporting workplace pensions and related queries.

This role offers variety across care and education environments, opportunities to contribute to project work and process improvements, with a strong emphasis on data protection and compliance

Qualifications

• Extensive payroll experience across multiple payrolls.
• Pensions administration knowledge including auto-enrolment.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Process seven monthly payrolls for approximately 750 employees.
• Support workplace pension administration and auto-enrolment.
• Ensure HMRC compliance and audit readiness.
• Respond to payroll and pension queries.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR on payroll projects.
