Putting the colleague first is at the heart of what we do.

  • You will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex queries from our colleagues across the business.
  • Supporting and training team members on payroll processes, and colleague queries.
  • Ensuring that payroll is processed right first time and in the right way, in line with internal policies and legislative requirements.
  • Measure the success of the team, looking for ways to continuously improve our processes and accuracy and, with the support of management, putting these changes into place.
  • Supporting key stakeholders and departments across the business and cascading data and reports as required.
Desirable skills:

  • Experience of working with Dayforce payroll software
  • Experience of training colleagues on new skills and processes
  • Expert excel skills.
  • Exposure and experience of continuously improving processes.
  • CIPP or similar accredited
  • Experience in ROI legislation
Essential skills:

  • A good to excellent understanding of tax and NI rules and able to calculate advances, arrears and additional payment values.
  • Awareness of the administration of HMRC remittances, court orders, and employee benefits like pensions and healthcare
  • A desire to learn and continuously improve.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Being able to keep our colleagues at the centre of all you do.
  • Able to organise your time to meet key deadlines both by yourself and as part of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to break down pay queries to make it understandable for our colleagues and your team members.
