Job summary

Fourth LTD is seeking a proactive Team Lead, Payroll Implementation Services, to guide a payroll onboarding and change team. You will own workloads, drive accurate payroll processing, and ensure smooth TUPE transitions for new and existing clients.

You will coach consultants and specialists, optimise resource use, and act as escalation point for payroll-related issues, partnering with leadership to improve processes and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience of payroll processing and payroll implementation, ideally within hospitality.
• Desire to manage and develop people.
• Knowledge of coaching styles and applying them in practice.
• Ability to manage, motivate and work within a team.
• Good emotional intelligence and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and efficient with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of customer onboarding and payroll change projects, including TUPE transfers.
• Process live payrolls during onboarding, validate outputs and resolve discrepancies; administer pensions and RTI submissions.
• Enable Consultants and Specialists to deliver consultative configuration at each onboarding phase.
• Share expertise and best practice to maximize value for Fourth’s customers.
• Escalate team or customer challenges related to payroll implementation.
• Monitor and manage resource allocation across onboarding and change projects.
• Inspire and coach team members to develop payroll and consulting skills.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by prioritising the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the Professional Services Leadership team on change and process improvements.
