Job summary

EY is seeking an Implementation Manager to onboard new clients to EY’s Payroll Operate solution across the UK. You will drive high-quality, timely payroll implementations, coordinating data migration and go-live activities while collaborating with global and UK teams.

The role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK and opportunities to mentor junior colleagues as part of a growing Payroll Operate team.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years’ hands-on UK Payroll knowledge.
• Experience of payroll implementations in a high-volume business.
• Knowledge of AE, RTI, Apprenticeship Levy.
• CIPP qualification preferred.
• iTrent experience preferred.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to capture Payroll needs and requirements.
• Plan and manage delivery of client implementations.
• Coordinate data migration and go-live runs with clients and internal teams.
• Document proposed payroll functionality and client procedures.
• Work with the service delivery team for handover to BAU.
• Develop bespoke payroll reports and general ledger reports.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues impacting delivery.
• Prepare fee and budget details.
• Support and develop more junior team members.
