Job summary

EY UK is seeking an Implementation Manager to lead onboarding of clients to EY's Payroll Operate in the UK. You will manage client engagements, plan implementations, coordinate data migration, and ensure smooth handovers to BAU while developing bespoke payroll reports.

Ideal candidates bring extensive UK payroll experience, knowledge of AE/RTI/Levy, and iTrent experience, with a proactive, relationship-led approach.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years' hands-on UK Payroll knowledge.
• Payroll qualifications (CIPP) preferred.
• Experience of payroll implementations in high-volume environments.
• Expertise in payroll compliance (AE, RTI, Apprenticeship Levy).
• iTrent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand Payroll needs and develop requirements.
• Plan and manage delivery of the client implementation project to meet target dates.
• Coordinate data migration, parallel and first live runs with client and internal teams.
• Work with service delivery to ensure smooth handover to BAU.
• Develop and advise on bespoke financial reports (e.g., GL reports).
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Prepare fee and budget details.
