Job summary

EY UK Payroll Operate team is hiring to support high-quality payroll implementations for new clients across the UK, including Newcastle, Manchester and Belfast, with flexibility to base in Glasgow or Leeds. You will help deliver timely payroll solutions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong UK payroll knowledge, stakeholder management, and proven ability to manage timelines in a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years' hands-on UK Payroll knowledge.
• Payroll qualifications such as CIPP preferred.
• Experience with payroll implementations in high-volume environments.
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance including AE, RTI and Apprenticeship Levy.

Responsibilities

• Understand client payroll needs and develop requirements for timely implementations.
• Support client implementation projects to meet target dates.
• Coordinate data migration and first live runs with client and internal teams.
• Document proposed payroll functionality and client procedures.
• Work with service delivery to hand over to BAU teams.
• Develop bespoke payroll reports, such as general ledger reports.
