Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on UK payroll experience and strong end-to-end operational knowledge.
• Proven experience leading payroll implementations in complex or high-volume environments.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll compliance (AE, RTI, Apprenticeship Levy).
• Confident project leadership with the ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll implementations across onboarding projects.
• Manage timelines, quality and budgets across multiple onboarding projects.
• Partner with clients to understand requirements and provide guidance during transition.
• Ensure seamless move into first live payroll and ongoing BAU handover.
• Contribute to payroll-related financial reporting and GL outputs.
• Develop junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
