Loom Talent is partnering with a Northamptonshire-based organisation to recruit a Payroll Coordinator on a permanent basis. The role combines day-to-day payroll tasks with additional projects, ensuring payroll data is accurate and ready for processing while supporting HR activities.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working with numbers, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working autonomously in a small team. Hybrid working is offered, with initial onsite presence near Northampton.

Qualifications

• Experience in a payroll, HR, reward or similar coordination role.
• Comfortable working with data and Excel to analyse and reconcile information.
• Able to work autonomously in a small team and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and checking of monthly payroll data prior to processing.
• Carry out detailed checks across pay, pensions and other payroll information to ensure accuracy.
• Support the administration of a range of employee benefits and reward programmes.
• Work with large data sets and use Excel to analyse, manipulate and reconcile information.
• Respond to payroll and HR queries, coordinating with colleagues across the business.
• Identify discrepancies and follow these through to resolution.
• Provide general support across payroll and HR functions as required.
