Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a Payroll Officer to join a growing business in Winchester. You will manage UK payroll end-to-end, assist with employee benefits and pension schemes, and provide accurate payroll-related finance support.

The role covers onboarding to offboarding, payroll processing using Sage Payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax rules and statutory requirements. This is a 12 month FTC with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering UK payroll end-to-end including PAYE and year-end.
• HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience using payroll software, ideally Sage Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Act as main payroll contact for employees.
• Run monthly payroll using Sage Payroll and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain PAYE records and year-end submissions.
• Administer pension auto-enrolment and life cover.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure payroll and benefits comply with tax rules.
