Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is recruiting a Payroll Officer to join our client in Winchester. The role combines UK payroll, HR administration and benefits support, with duties spanning the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and month-end payroll processing.

The successful candidate will have previous UK payroll experience (including PAYE and year-end reporting), be comfortable handling confidential information and work across HR, payroll and finance tasks in a professional

Qualifications

• Experience running UK payroll and HR administration.
• Experience using Sage Payroll.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of PAYE, auto-enrolment and year-end processes.
• Experience across the employee lifecycle and payroll reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for payroll and benefits queries.
• Run the monthly payroll using Sage Payroll; perform data checks and submissions.
• Maintain PAYE records and year-end payroll reporting.
• Administer pension auto-enrolment and payroll reconciliations.
• Manage salary sacrifice, benefits, deductions and statutory payments.
• Prepare HR correspondence, contracts and employee records.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding and system updates.
• Ensure payroll and benefits are compliant with tax rules.
