Job summary

AAB is recruiting a UK Payroll Manager in Glasgow to lead payroll delivery for SME clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely service. The role includes coaching the Client Success Specialists, maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with internal teams to uphold service standards.

You will drive improvements, manage workloads, and contribute to business development activities while operating within a hybrid working model in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll delivery in a client‑focussed environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and develop high performing individuals.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll delivery across SME client portfolio.
• Lead and coach Client Success Specialists.
• Coordinate payroll activities between clients, CSS, and QX.
• Monitor service performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Drive process improvements and best practice within the team.
• Support onboarding and client review meetings.
