Job summary

Reed Accountancy are supporting a renowned local organisation in Stirling, Scotland, seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join a close-knit team. This part-time, permanent role covers end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring payroll data accuracy.

You will manage weekly and monthly payroll, maintain records, handle reconciliations, and respond to payroll queries while adhering to HMRC guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar payroll position.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end processing for weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
  • Performing payroll reconciliations and verifying data
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
  • Processing payroll related changes including starters, leavers, and amendments
  • Calculating and administering statutory payments and deductions
  • Acting as point of contact for payroll queries from internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC guidelines and company policies
  • Providing support to wider payroll and accounts teams

  • Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 FTE


Reed Accountancy are currently working with a renowned local organisation who are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will join an established, close-knit team and be responsible for maintaining the end-to-end payroll function.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


  • Managing the end-to-end processing for weekly and monthly payrolls

  • Maintaining and updating employee payroll records

  • Performing payroll reconciliations and verifying data

  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies

  • Processing payroll related changes including starters, leavers, and amendments

  • Calculating and administering statutory payments and deductions

  • Acting as point of contact for payroll queries from internal stakeholders

  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC, guidelines, and company policies
