Payroll Coordinator - Maternity Cover - 12 Month Contract
The COMPANY

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of power generation, turbines, and combustion systems serving industries such as Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, and Power Generation. Their extensive product range has earned them an excellent reputation across over 100 countries. We are proud to support their ongoing expansion by providing suitable local staff to complement their existing team.

The ROLE

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover contract. The Payroll Coordinator will manage payroll administration through external providers for employees and contractors in various countries within the EMEA region. The role includes handling all employee-related daily accounting matters such as business expenses, corporate credit cards, and timesheets.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Processing time entries for project labor allocation, overtime, and overseas work
  2. Preparing monthly payroll data for submission to external payroll providers
  3. Presenting payroll documentation for approval by the Finance Manager
  4. Submitting payroll data to HMRC, payroll providers, and overseas authorities
  5. Managing company pension scheme data
  6. Resolving payroll queries
  7. Processing employee expenses
  8. Administering the corporate credit card scheme
The CANDIDATE

The ideal Payroll Coordinator will possess:

  • Experience in a similar payroll role
  • Background in preparing, processing, and analyzing payroll information
  • Ideally, international payroll experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of Sage200 is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
