Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is seeking a busy payroll and bookkeeping professional to join a growing accountancy practice. In modern offices, you will manage client payroll end to end, handle bookkeeping and management accounting, and oversee VAT return preparation.

You will liaise with HMRC, maintain strong client contact, and support general administration. AAT qualifications are beneficial but not essential; the successful candidate will bring solid experience in a multi-client environment

Qualifications

• Strong background in payroll and bookkeeping.
• Experience with multiple clients preferred.
• AAT qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• End to end management of the payroll bureau, including year end responsibilities, RTI reporting and auto enrolment.
• Bookkeeping and management accounting for a varied portfolio of clients.
• VAT return preparation.
• Liaising with HMRC.
• Extensive client contact.
• General administration as required.
