You'll manage payroll requirements for a varied portfolio of clients, delivering an accurate and reliable service while building strong working relationships with the businesses you support.

The role is offered on a permanent and full-time basis, with some working from home available after probation.

As Bureau Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing payroll processing for an allocated portfolio
• Importing and in-putting payroll information, checking data and ensuring calculations are accurate
• Processing statutory payments, including maternity, sickness and holiday pay
• Dealing directly with clients to obtain payroll information, answer queries and resolve discrepancies
• Managing competing deadlines to ensure payrolls are completed accurately and on time
• Keeping up to date with relevant payroll legislation and applying changes correctly
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a responsive, high-quality bureau service

The successful Bureau Payroll Specialist will:

Have hands-on payroll experience and be confident managing a portfolio of client payrolls, ideally within a bureau or accountancy practice environment.

You'll have excellent attention to detail, a methodical approach and the ability to identify discrepancies before they become problems. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be dealing directly with clients and managing queries through to resolution.
