Martin Brower UK & Ireland is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead UK payroll and expenses administration at One Park Lane, Hemel Hempstead. The role is hybrid (3 days on-site) and covers the UK & Ireland payroll service with a focus on accuracy, compliance and improving processes.

You will partner with Finance, HR and Operations, manage external providers such as Moorepay/Crown/Concur, and support payroll reporting and audits while developing the payroll team.

Qualifications

• Significant payroll experience with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
• CIPP payroll qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience coaching or developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of UK payroll services across multiple cycles with accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and Operations to provide payroll insights and reporting.
• Oversee Concur expense system administration and HMRC compliance.
• Maintain relationships with Moorepay, Crown and Concur as external providers.
• Support audit requests and internal reporting deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems.
• Foster learning and professional growth within the payroll team.
