Job summary

Jobgether partners with a UK-based employer to recruit a Service Delivery Automation Analyst. You will transform complex payroll operations into automated workflows across multiple countries, using n8n, Alteryx, SQL, APIs, and LLM-based solutions.

Collaborating with payroll specialists, operations teams, Product, Engineering, and Data, you will own automation projects from discovery through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, ensuring accuracy and auditable processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations automation, payroll ops or related.
• Hands-on production workflows using n8n, Alteryx, Make, Zapier, Power Automate.
• Experience with LLMs to transform unstructured text into data.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, webhooks and other methods.
• Strong SQL and data skills across multiple sources.
• Ability to turn complex processes into clear rules and data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end payroll processes and how data moves between systems.
• Identify automation opportunities by evaluating tasks, issues, impact and risk.
• Improve processes by removing steps and preventing errors before payroll.
• Translate policies into documented, version-controlled rules with dates.
• Build, integrate, and maintain automated workflows across platforms.
• Apply AI to extract information and route cases appropriately.
• Choose rule-based, AI, and human review mix; maintain auditable records.
• Ensure reliability with audit trails, error handling and alerts.
• Prototype and test solutions with shadow testing and parallel runs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and continuously improve or retire solutions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Data for broader improvements.
• Handle sensitive data respecting privacy and security standards.
