Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Payroll Assistant for a busy Kent practice. You will oversee payroll for a diverse client portfolio within a growing firm of chartered accountants in Kent.

You will process weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls, ensure accuracy, manage HMRC queries, and support pension submissions while benefiting from strong progression prospects and study support where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• To manage your own portfolio of payroll clients.
• To take responsibility for quality and accuracy of payroll work.
• To process Payrolls in accordance with Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Payroll cut off schedule.
• Ensuring payroll checklists are completed and signed off.
• Processing HMRC tax code amendments prior to payroll processing.
• Dealing with queries from HMRC.
• Processing and Uploading Pension Submissions.

We're exclusivity recruiting for a payroll Assistant to join a fast growing firm of chartered accountants in Kent. Our client is a fast growing and ambitious, multi-sited practice with a modern approach to accounting. They have a great staff retention rate, and we have had excellent feedback from staff we've placed with them.

This role is suited towards an experienced and technically competent Payroll Assistant. The successful candidate for this Payroll Assistant job in Kent will oversee the payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients and work within a fast growing and highly successful accountancy practice. The business has ambitious plans to grow and in return offers excellent future progression prospects.

You will be responsible for:

• To manage your own portfolio of payroll clients
• To take responsibility for quality and accuracy of payroll work
• To process Payrolls in accordance with Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Payroll cut off schedule
