The role requires strong numerical ability, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software. Experience in a payroll environment and good communication skills are essential.

We are looking for an efficient Payroll Assistant to join our team who will be responsible for all aspects of managing employee salary data, ensuring payments are made accurately and on time for approximately 6,000 employees across the UK and Republic of Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a payroll environment, and will have the necessary qualities to perform the role; trustworthy, honest, confidential, communicative, helpful, responsive. You will work with a team of payroll assistants to ensure documents are organized and payroll-related items are handled appropriately. You will be required to provide information and answer employee/ manager questions about all payroll-related matters. Experience of processing Republic of Ireland payroll would be advantageous although full training will be given.
