Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is recruiting an HR Advisor to provide high‑volume employee relations support across UK sites, including investigations, disciplinary actions and performance management. The role is hybrid, based in Rotherham with travel to sites as needed, and requires CIPD Level 5 and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will develop action plans, deliver ER training, maintain confidential records and partner with managers to uphold policy compliance and a positive employee relations

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering training on ER practices and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a high volume of employee relations cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution in line with policies and laws.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into complaints, grievances and related issues, gathering documentation and interviewing involved parties.
  • Provide advice to managers and staff on ER matters, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address ER issues, including disciplinary actions or performance improvement plans.
  • Design and deliver training/workshops to educate managers on ER practices and workforce management.
  • Draft and maintain confidential ER documentation such as investigation reports and disciplinary records.
  • Collaborate with line managers to manage absences and coordinate with occupational health when needed.
  • Support site management to embed group culture and HR initiatives.

Learn more at www.allianceautomotivegroup.eu.We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our team based in Rotherham at our new National Distribution Centre.This role will be responsible for providing HR support across a region and effectively managing and resolving a large number of employee relations cases in compliance with company policies and procedures.You will work as part of a wider team who are based across UK and Ireland and must be prepared to travel to any company site from time to time.You need to be a self-starter, strong generalist and be able to juggle a large workload and manage your own time effectively whilst giving first class customer service, adhering to SLA’s whilst taking on project work.This is a hybrid working role, 3 days in office, 2 days from home.Responsibilities:Oversee a high volume of employee relations cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution of issues while maintaining compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and other related issues; gather relevant documentation, interview involved parties, and assess credibility of information provided.Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relation matters, including disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution while maintaining positive employee relations.Create and implement appropriate action plans to address employee relations issues; recommend appropriate disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, or other corrective measures as needed.Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate managers on effective employee relations practices, conflict resolution, and workforce management strategies.Draft, review, and maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation, including investigation reports, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary records.Work with line managers to ensure that absences are maintained within acceptable limits uilising the occupational health team where appropriate.Work with the local site management team to ensure the group culture and initiatives are implemented and maintained.To be successful in this role:Minimum 2 years’ experience with a focus on employee relationsCIPD level 5Proven experience in handling high volume of employee relations cases with successful outcomes, preferably in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees at all levels of the organisationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to independently assess situations and provide sound recommendations in line with our company policiesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.Experience in delivering large scale change management projects.Not the right fit?
