Job summary

One Education Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Advisor to provide an end-to-end payroll support service to our clients in the education sector. You will work as part of a small but highly motivated payroll team, delivering accurate, timely payroll support with a strong eye for detail.

The role involves office-based initial training with eventual hybrid working options, and a focus on meeting strict payroll deadlines while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll sector with client-facing service.
• Fundamental understanding of payroll legislation, such as taxation, statutory deductions and HMRC reporting requirements.
• Ability to manually calculate payroll deductions.
• Ability to answer queries about pay slips and net pay calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail and taking pride in a thorough approach.
• To understand the importance of working to strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in the use of IT, including experience of payroll software, Excel, Word and using IT in a Windows operating environment.
