Job summary

Streets LLP, a modern accountancy practice with offices across the UK, is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our payroll bureau. You will process monthly and weekly payrolls end-to-end, handle statutory allowances, and manage auto-enrolment pension schemes, delivering accurate and compliant payroll for a diverse client base.

We offer a collaborative, supportive team environment, full study support towards professional qualifications, 38.75 hours per week, and initial office-based working

Qualifications

  • 2 years payroll experience ideally within a bureau environment.
  • Able to record keep and report accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Completion or part-completion of the CIPP or ATT professional qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy in payroll software, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Processing & administration of monthly & weekly payrolls, including statutory filings.
  • Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed to deadlines.
  • Completion of month and year end payroll processes.
  • Liaison with client contacts to answer queries and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by the Payroll Services Manager.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing payroll bureau at Street's, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll from start to finish for a diverse range of clients. This includes the accurate payment of salaries, the administration of statutory allowances, and managing auto-enrolment pension schemes. You will play a vital role in ensuring payroll is delivered efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining strong, positive client relationships. With Street's ambitious growth plans, this role offers a chance to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing & administration of monthly & weekly payrolls, including management reporting & statutory filings including FPS, EPS, P45, Starter Declarations and End of Year Declarations and P60's.
  • Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed to the highest standards within legislated guidance and deadlines.
  • Completion of the month and year end payroll processes.
  • Liaison with client contacts to answer queries and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
  • Any ad hoc projects as requested by the Payroll Services Manager
What we need from you:
  • Competent payroll administrator preferably with experience of multiple payroll processing.
  • Able to record keep and report accurately and in a timely manner
  • 2 years payroll experience ideally within a bureau environment
  • Completion or part-completion of the CIPP or ATT professional qualifications would be advantageous
  • Strong computer literacy in relevant software packages - Payroll software, Word and Excel (intermediate).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and maintain a calm manner at all times.
