Job summary

Streets is a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a fast-growing payroll bureau. You will manage end-to-end payroll for a diverse client base, ensuring accurate salary payments and pension administration while upholding client relationships.

The role requires 2 years payroll experience, competence with payroll software, and strong Excel/Word skills. Office-based with potential flexible working after probation; exceptional attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Experience processing payroll for multiple clients, ideally in a bureau.
  • Ability to record, report and reconcile payroll data accurately.
  • Two years of payroll experience preferred.
  • CIPP or ATT qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly and weekly payrolls for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy.
  • Complete statutory filings and annual declarations as required.
  • Respond to client payroll queries and maintain timely reporting.
  • Support ad hoc payroll projects as needed.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing payroll bureau at Street’s, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll from start to finish for a diverse range of clients. This includes the accurate payment of salaries, the administration of statutory allowances, and managing auto-enrolment pension schemes. You will play a vital role in ensuring payroll is delivered efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining strong, positive client relationships. With Street’s ambitious growth plans, this role offers a chance to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing & administration of monthly & weekly payrolls, including management reporting & statutory filings including FPS, EPS, P45, Starter Declarations and End of Year Declarations and P60’s.
  • Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed to the highest standards within legislated guidance and deadlines.
  • Completion of the month and year end payroll processes.
  • Liaison with client contacts to answer queries and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
  • Any ad hoc projects as requested by the Payroll Services Manager
What We Need From You
  • Competent payroll administrator preferably with experience of multiple payroll processing.
  • Able to record keep and report accurately and in a timely manner
  • 2 years payroll experience ideally within a bureau environment
  • Completion or part-completion of the CIPP or ATT professional qualifications would be advantageous
  • Strong computer literacy in relevant software packages – Payroll software, Word and Excel (intermediate).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and maintain a calm manner at all times.

Full time 38.75 hours per week. Whilst this is initially an office-based role, upon completion of probation there is the opportunity for flexible working subject to the needs of the department.
