Job summary

NG Bailey in Leeds is seeking a Payroll Administrator to develop a specialist payroll career. You’ll join a supportive payroll team and gain hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised payroll qualification.

You will receive structured training, dedicated study time and mentoring from experienced payroll professionals as you learn payroll legislation, systems and processes, building a long-term career in payroll.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented and numerically confident.
  • Organised and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Interested in building a career in payroll.
  • Previous experience in admin/HR/finance/payroll advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • You'll support the day-to-day administration of payroll, including processing employee information, maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll queries and helping ensure payroll activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • As knowledge develops, you'll gain exposure to payroll legislation, statutory payments, HMRC processes and payroll reporting, building the skills needed for a successful long-term career in payroll.

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll join a supportive Payroll team and learn how to deliver an accurate and efficient payroll service. What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Previous experience in an administrative, HR, finance or payroll environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
