Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our finance team in Bangor, North Wales. You will assist with weekly and monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments, while supporting payroll-related administrative tasks in collaboration with the Finance/HR Manager.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Proficient English reading/writing and communication.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems, tax and labour regulations.
  • High integrity and confidentiality with data handling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Verify timesheets and work schedules for payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure up-to-date information.
  • Prepare payroll reports, including tax filings and year-end statements.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with local Labour laws and regulations.
  • Support payroll system integrations with accounting functions.
  • Assist with internal and payroll audits as required.
  • Perform other finance/admin duties as assigned.

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with the processing of payroll, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time. You will also support payroll-related administrative tasks and work closely with the Finance / HR Manager to ensure compliance with local Labour laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly/monthly payroll for employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.).
  • Verify timesheets and work schedules to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports, including tax filings and year-end statements.
  • Process and reconcile payroll-related accounts, such as accruals and tax liabilities.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and national payroll regulations and labour laws.
  • Assist with internal audits and payroll audits as required.
  • Support the integration of payroll systems with other internal accounting functions.
  • Other administrative and finance-related duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak in English sufficiently well to perform the duties of this position
  • The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll systems, accounting software, and relevant tax regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to handle and organise multiple projects and deadlines is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop in the payroll function
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of local tax and labour laws (depending on the country/region).
  • Ability to adapt to changing payroll systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
