Job summary

inDrive seeks a Payroll Accounting Manager to own payroll accounting operations across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.

You will lead month-end close, own payroll processing and reporting, design robust controls, and drive automation and process improvements to scale with company growth. Collaboration with auditors and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience with 3+ years in a public company.
• Experience with payroll accounting and related compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of leading process improvements and system implementations.
• Proficient in NetSuite or similar accounting software; systemic integrations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll accounting functions, including processing, reconciliation, compliance, and reporting.
• Act as primary preparer in month-end and quarter-end close with management presentations.
• Design and implement robust accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance mechanisms.
• Drive automation, efficiency, and scalable processes to support growth.
• Develop and maintain technical accounting expertise in payroll policies and controls.
• Draft accounting policies using US GAAP guidance with cross-functional input.
• Identify inefficiencies and create innovative solutions; collaborate with auditors.
• Assist with processing the Company's employee equity grants.
