Job summary

Conduct AI in London is seeking an accounting professional to own key close and reporting areas, collaborating with founders and legal counsel. You will drive accuracy, audit readiness, and scalable processes critical for growth, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis across multiple domains.

You will push for automation, control improvements, and robust reporting to inform decision‑making. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented and analytical.
• A builder's instinct with automation and AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong communicator across Finance and the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the monthly/quarterly close: journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis.
• End-to-end ownership of cash, accruals, payroll, capitalised commissions, fixed assets, or revenue balances.
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages aligned with forecasts and business drivers.
• Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows.
• Support audit and review processes and respond to auditor inquiries.
