Job summary

International Bank is undergoing a major payments transformation and seeks a hands-on Payments Business Analyst to define requirements, improve processes and support delivery through testing and implementation.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, technology teams and external partners to map payment journeys and ensure regulatory alignment in a mixed Agile/Waterfall environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering payments technology or change projects in banking.
• Understanding of payments types, schemes, and regulatory considerations.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting integration, regulatory change and UAT.
• Able to document clearly with end-to-end traceability.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document payments change requirements.
• Produce BA artefacts: requirements docs, user stories, process maps.
• Work across feasibility to design, testing and readiness.
• Map and improve payment processes across systems and journeys.
• Support UAT including test scenarios and defect triage.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers and risk/compliance.
• Engage with external vendors and third-party platform providers.
• Ensure alignment with payments regulations, standards, governance and risk controls.
• Operate in a mixed Agile and Waterfall environment using Jira and Confluence.
