Job summary

Ticket Tailor is launching a Payments Product Manager to own the vision and execution of our payments domain. You will drive both existing payment provider integrations and the new payments product, shaping the end-to-end experience for event organisers getting paid.

You will lead discovery, work with engineers and designers, and apply first-principles thinking to deliver meaningful, low-friction payment solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Real payments product experience evidenced by ownership of payments in a SaaS/platform context.
• End-to-end ownership with clear vision and decisions, not just backlog grooming.
• First-principles problem diagnosis: question the brief and define value for the user.
• Vision-setting to guide what gets built and where the domain is heading.
• Comfort with ambiguity as the product scope evolves.
• AI-native working approach to deepen impact and pace.

Responsibilities

• Own the payments product vision for current and new product integrations; inform tactical decisions.
• Diagnose organisers' payments problems and define what good looks like for users.
• Own end-to-end payment integrations, including roadmap and near-term improvements.
• Build and maintain a clear payments domain model to enable scalable development.
• Turn money movement friction into well-scoped product problems rather than support queues.
• Shape the end-to-end product experience through discovery, user research, and collaboration with UX/design.
• Design to avoid firefighting later; prevent toil and risk for support/ops teams.
• Judge success through meaningful customer signals and iterate accordingly.
• Use AI fluently to enhance depth and pace of work.
