Job summary

THG Ingenuity is seeking a payments performance specialist to ensure robust payment acceptance across cards, wallets, PayPal and BNPL. You will identify issues, coordinate teams and implement improvements that reduce revenue leakage and customer friction.

You will own payment-performance reporting, incident escalation and optimisation activities, measuring outcome-driven revenue and experience benefits across a high-volume international ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments, ecommerce or financial services.
• Strong understanding of online payment journeys and PSPs.
• Experience analysing payment acceptance and performance data.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
• Experience coordinating technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Commercial awareness of how payment performance affects revenue.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payment performance across cards, wallets and PayPal.
• Track authorisation and completion rates by market and method.
• Identify deterioration, trends and gaps needing investigation.
• Develop alerts and thresholds for payment issues.
• Produce regular payment-performance reporting for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PSPs, acquirers and partners to resolve issues.
