Warwick District Council is seeking to appoint a permanent Payments and Procurement Admin Officer to its small by very busy Payments and Procurement Admin Team.
The successful applicant will assist the Senior Payments and Procurement Admin Team Supervisor in the successful operation of the Council’s Payments and Procurement Admin function which processes £120m in creditor payments per year and provides procurement administrative support for the small, centralised Procurement team, and Service Areas regarding transparency requirements. It also provides support for the payment of £20m in Housing Benefits, Council Tax and NNDR payments; and £7m in sundry debt including the BID levy.

The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, hybrid and office working is also available.
