Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a Pattern Shop Machinist to join our Manufacturing team. You will set up and machine patterns, jigs and carbon components using 3-axis and 5-axis CNC centres, delivering parts to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, maintain production data and support continuous workflow. The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience and a collaborative, detail-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and machine patterns, jigs and carbon components on CNC centres.
• Work to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, inspection and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate work orders and production data.
• Support smooth shift handovers and workflow.
• Suggest improvements to quality and efficiency.
