Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an enthusiastic administrator to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics team in a part-time role. You will support the department with essential admin tasks and patient liaison.

The post holder will handle enquiries, book and record appointments, and maintain accurate patient records, enabling smooth 18‑week pathways and efficient clinic administration.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent.
• NVQ in Administration or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient admin support by responding to telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
• Book new and follow-up fracture clinic appointments and record outcomes.
• Update demographic details to keep the Electronic Patient Record accurate.
