Job Description:

New Victoria Hospital is looking for a Imaging Patient Service Advisor who will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and booking services to the Radiology Department.

This role involves developing and delivering a cost-effective Imaging department service, providing professional administrative support to patients, visitors, consultants, medical secretaries, and GPs. The aim is to ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service, emphasizing customer care to maintain high standards.

You will be responsible for registering patients on arrival, processing billing information, providing medical instructions for appointments, and completing necessary medical questionnaires and preparations. Additionally, you will offer effective patient booking services via in-person, telephone, and electronic communication.

We seek someone enthusiastic, positive, and highly motivated, capable of working under pressure. The role requires working various shifts to match the Imaging Department's hours, which are Monday to Friday 07:30-20:00 and Saturdays 08:00-16:00.

Requirements:

Knowledge:
  • Some medical knowledge
  • Previous imaging/Radiology experience desirable
Experience:
  • Bookings and administration skills
Qualifications:
  • Customer Service experience
