Job summary

The Droitwich Spa Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Patient Administrator to join the Administration department. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract and salary of £24,947 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.

We’re looking for candidates with GCSE Maths and English, PC literacy, basic financial awareness and private healthcare admin experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of a PC and essential software/systems.
• Basic financial awareness.
• Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow Circle Health Group best practice process maps to provide a standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and take appropriate measures.
• Complete mandatory training.
