Job summary

Health Innovation Wessex, hosted by University Hospital Southampton, is recruiting a Programme Manager for Patient Safety on a 23-month secondment or fixed-term basis. The post leads projects that deliver national and local patient safety programmes and coaches clinicians to improve care.

The role requires a clinical background with patient safety or quality improvement experience and offers hybrid working with at least two days in the office. Collaboration across NHS partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in nursing, midwifery, allied health, public health or social care.
• Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects delivering the HIW patient safety collaborative programme objectives.
• Form, monitor and support improvement teams across organisations.
• Provide data, reports and evidence on progress and outcomes.
