Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Programme Manager Patient Safety to manage and implement multiple projects within Health Innovation Wessex, delivering against NHSE specifications and local programme objectives. You will engage with providers, commissioners, partners and frontline clinicians to build skills and support for patient safety improvement.

The role focuses on coordinating performance, governance and data to reduce avoidable harm, while shaping a culture of quality improvement across the network

Responsibilities

• Performance and outcomes of projects to deliver Health Innovation Wessex Patient Safety Collaborative programmes.
• Implementing programme management plans to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Leading a suite of programmes (national and local IC S agreed programmes).
• Raising awareness of Quality Improvement and safety culture; coaching, mentoring and influencing clinicians.
