Job summary

St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth, Turnchapel, Plymouth, is seeking a Patient Safety Facilitator to join our Quality Team on a permanent, 30-hour per week basis. The role focuses on governance, incident management and evaluating quality across services.

You will support the Associate Director of Quality & Patient Experience, manage governance reports and data synthesis, and act as a key contact for feedback and complaints, helping to uphold high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in clinical governance and/or quality, safety or service improvement in a health and social care setting.
• Strong administrative skills and solid understanding of essential IT systems.
• Ability to prioritise a diverse workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the quality team and work closely with the Associate Director of Quality & Patient Experience.
• Support the application of the Hospice Risk and Incident Management System.
• Act as the first point of contact for feedback and complaints.
• Support robust clinical governance and quality policies and procedures.
• Develop systems and processes to ensure governance can be evaluated accordingly.
• Work closely with the CQC registered Manager.
• Support the administration of regular cyclical meetings.
• Synthesise and present various data.
• Produce regular governance, quality and audit reports.
