Job summary

Spire Southampton Hospital is recruiting a Quality & Governance Manager to lead governance, quality and patient safety efforts. You will work with the Director of Clinical Services and MAC Chair to drive clinical excellence, lead the PSIRF framework, and embed a culture of learning from incidents.

The role requires senior-level experience in governance, quality and risk, with a focus on improving patient journeys, staff engagement and service quality across hospital teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading governance, quality and risk in a hospital setting.
• Experience at senior level with clinical audit.
• PSIRF training advantageous, or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Governance Framework and promote clinical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulatory requirements and PSIRF implementation.
• Investigate incidents, identify barriers, and drive remedial actions with Heads of Departments.
• Promote excellent customer service and quality patient experience initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customer groups and drive quality and risk standards.
• Facilitate clear and timely communication within teams.
