Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator for the CAT 7 Acute Paediatrics Admin Team. The post involves proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring smooth coordination and high patient satisfaction.

There is cover for the children’s clinic reception during leave. Full-time hours include 3 days 08:00-16:00, 1 day 08:00-15:00 and one late shift 08:00-17:00.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to navigate healthcare admin processes and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient referrals, bookings and clinic scheduling.
• Cover children's clinic reception during absences.
• Process and log referrals and maintain accurate patient records in line with SOPs.
