Main duties of the job

We have adopted a centralised hiring process for administration roles in bands 2-3 and 4-5. This means you apply once and are considered for multiple positions within our organisation, saving time for both candidates and managers while accessing a broader talent pool.

This week are currently recruiting for the following Bands 4 and 5 role across the organisation:

  • Patient Pathway Administrator- 37.5 hours per week, Permanent, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre
  • Patient Pathway Administrator- 21 hours per week, Permanent, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a Patient Pathway Administrator to join our admin team within the Clinical Genetics Department. Genomic Medicine is an exciting, forward thinking medical speciality. The administrative team, and Pathway Administrators in particular, are integral to the future development of the service.

As we embark on a major Digitalisation project, we are looking for hard working, enthusiastic individuals who want to be a part of our developing service.

Knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and knowledge of elective access standards would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

This position requires the demonstration of strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being a team member. If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to join our team then we would encourage you to apply.
