Job summary

Circle Health Group is hiring a Patient Liaison Officer for Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor. This part-time role (22.5 hours weekly) supports the Marketing team and helps convert self-pay enquiries into appointments.

The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service, manage enquiries, supply pre-consultation information and pricing, and book clinics while upholding Circle Health Group standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience across telephone, written and face-to-face channels.
• Work within service performance standards to deliver quality outcomes.
• Proven influencing/sales skills to convert enquiries.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Convert self-pay enquiries and consultations to self-pay procedures against targets.
• Provide a quality service for potential self-pay patients, responding to NEC and hospital enquiries.
• Facilitate access times and information required for patients to convert to a procedure.
• Influence patients to choose Circle Health Group for their procedure.
• Provide pre-consultation information and indicative pricing to NEC and patients.
• Book self-pay patients into suitable clinic appointments.

Patient Liaison Officer - Princess Margaret Hospital

The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Patient Liaison Officer to join their team of staff in the Marketing department.

This is a part‑time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• You convert appropriate self-pay enquiries and consultations to self-pay procedures within Circle Health Group against pre‑agreed targets.
• You ensure a quality service for potential self‑pay patients including the accurate and timely response to self‑pay enquiries from patients, consultants, medical secretaries and the National Enquiry Centre (NEC).
• You facilitate necessary access times and information required for patients to convert to procedure.
• You appropriately influence patients to choose Circle Health Group for their procedure.
• You provide pre‑consultation information and indicative pricing accurately and promptly to the NEC and to patients that have enquired directly to the hospital/self‑pay office to maximise conversion to appointment.
• You book appropriate self‑pay patients into a suitable clinic appointment.

Requirements

• Customer service using telephone, written and face‑to‑face communications.
• Working within service performance standards.
• Proven influencing/sales skills.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Fixed Term Salary: Up to £27,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
