Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Bath Clinic seeks a Patient Liaison Officer to support self-pay enquiries and convert them into appointments. The role is 15 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern, based in Bath.

You will handle customer communications, provide information, and work with the NEC and hospital teams to maximise conversions while delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Customer service across telephone, written and face-to-face channels.
• Proven influencing/sales skills to convert enquiries.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to meet service performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Convert appropriate self-pay enquiries and consultations to self-pay procedures within Circle Health Group against pre-agreed targets.
• Provide timely responses to self-pay enquiries from patients, consultants, and NEC.
• Facilitate access times and information to convert to procedures.
• Influence patients to choose Circle Health Group for their procedure.
• Provide pre-consultation information and indicative pricing to NEC and patients.
• Book self-pay patients into suitable clinic appointments.
• Complete mandatory training.

Patient Liaison Officer

Bath Clinic

15 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £32,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Bath Clinic is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Patient Liaison Officer to join their team of staff in the Marketing department.

This is a part time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• You convert appropriate self-pay enquiries and consultations to self-pay procedures within Circle Health Group against pre-agreed targets.
• You ensure a quality service for potential self-pay patients including the accurate and timely response to self-pay enquiries from patients, consultants, medical secretaries and the National Enquiry Centre (NEC).
• You facilitate necessary access times and information required for patients to convert to procedure.
• You appropriately influence patients to choose Circle Health Group for their procedure.
• You provide pre-consultation information and indicative pricing accurately and promptly to the NEC and to patients that have enquired directly to the hospital/self-pay office to maximise conversion to appointment.
• You book appropriate self-pay patients into a suitable clinic appointment.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Customer service using telephone, written and face-to-face communications.
• Working within service performance standards.
• Proven influencing/sales skills.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
