York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to provide ongoing support to ensure statutory and mandatory manual handling training for all staff aligns with NHSLA Risk Management Standards and relevant legislation.

The role involves delivering induction and refresher training, supporting the Lead Manual Handling Advisor, maintaining training records, and collaborating with Occupational Health to promote evidence-based practice and staff

Responsabilités

• Deliver induction and refresher manual handling training to staff at all levels.
• Support the Lead Manual Handling Advisor in delivering, evaluating and improving training programmes and quality assurance, including attendance records and audits.
• Assist managers with manual handling and Display Screen Equipment (DSE) risk assessments, providing advice on safer handling practices.
• Maintain accurate assessment records using Trust documentation, ensuring confidentiality and communicating findings to managers.
