Job summary

Circle Health Group is recruiting a Patient Administrator for Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract, including a flexible shift pattern.

You will support the patient journey with efficient admin, bookings, mail handling and standard service to patients, visitors and staff. Applicants should have Maths/English GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, be PC proficient, and ideally bring prior private healthcare administration experience.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at grades A-C or equivalent
• Proficient in PC usage and hospital administration systems
• Experience in private healthcare administration is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow Circle Health Group best practice process maps to provide a standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Deal with all patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure appropriate measures.
• Complete mandatory training as required.
