Job summary

Spire Healthcare Limited is seeking a Patient Contact Centre Advisor in Cardiff to ensure a smooth patient service experience at the Cardiff PSC. The role involves managing outpatient bookings, handling high call volumes, and coordinating diaries for consultant and nurse-led clinics, with training and shift patterns provided.

You'll need strong literacy, numeracy, and PC skills, plus excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience delivering in a similar office/customer service role.
• High-volume call handling experience.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all outpatients using SAP.
• Manage the telephone lines in an effective and timely manner.
• Maintain an efficient diary for all outpatient clinics (consultant and nurse led).
• Process patient referral letters and related documentation after confirming details.
• Process patient appointment letters and documentation with consultants and secretaries.
• Respond to enquiries from patients, the public and consultants in a timely, courteous way.
