Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks a PEPI Manager within Specialist Children's Services to lead patient experience and public involvement programmes. You will shape voice-led service planning with clinical, operational and partner teams to drive person-centred care for children and families.

You will collaborate across organisations, develop engagement activities, train staff, evaluate outcomes and report on improvements, while balancing complex priorities and timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent knowledge and experience in engagement, involvement or programme management.
• Significant experience working with diverse stakeholders, communities and partner organisations.
• Strong knowledge of engagement methodologies, consultation approaches and person-centred care principles.
• Experience leading service improvement, engagement or transformation programmes within complex organisations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience managing projects, resources and staff while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical, report writing and strategic planning skills with the ability to evaluate and improve services through meaningful feedback and insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver patient experience and public involvement programmes to support service planning, redesign and improvement.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on engagement, participation and person-centred care.
• Develop and manage engagement activities to influence healthcare decisions.
• Design and deliver training to build staff knowledge and capability in patient and public involvement.
• Analyse feedback, evaluate outcomes and prepare reports for quality improvement and organisational learning.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including community groups and third sector organisations.
• Manage projects, resources and staff to ensure timely delivery of programme objectives.
