Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Band 7 physiotherapist to join the paediatric musculoskeletal team within the Women and Children’s directorate at the Royal Hospital for Children.

The role covers inpatients, outpatients and specialist clinics, provides leadership to junior staff, contributes to research initiatives and supports service development while balancing evening on-call and weekend duties.

Qualifications

• SRP Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and HPC registration.
• Post-registration Paediatric MSK physiotherapy experience.
• Enhanced PVG clearance and ongoing CPD commitment.

Responsibilities

• Be professionally and legally responsible for the physiotherapy management of your patients.
• Demonstrate governance, risk management and use evidence-based practice in clinical care.
• Provide clinical leadership to junior physiotherapists and support workers.
• Carry out evening and weekend on-call duties as required.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and formulate individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Coordinate service delivery for designated area and manage non-clinical tasks as delegated.
