Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Assistant Patient Carer & Public Involvement Officer to join the complaints and PALS team within the Patient Experience Team. You will support a busy unit, ensuring a welcoming and professional service to patients and families.

The role requires excellent organisational and IT skills, ability to manage workload, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Training can be provided for DATIX if needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
• Confident when dealing with the public and communicating with patients and relatives.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of patient administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own workload, prioritise competing demands and work to tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues in potentially challenging situations.
• Provide a welcoming, efficient, professional and caring service to patients and their families.
• Experience with or training in DATIX is advantageous.
