We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Diabetes Admin team to support the clinical teams in the provision of patient education and staff training.
This is a varied and interesting role where you have daily contact with our patients and should therefore possess excellent communication skills.
We provide face to face and virtual education sessions for patients, supporting the continual growth of technology within diabetes and the post holder will work within the wider admin team to support all administrative aspects of these.
You will also be responsible for providing admin support for the education sessions we provide to NHS staff within our local hospitals and primary care.

Works as a member of the team contributing to the smooth running of staff training and patient education programmes
Support the Diabetes Administrator & Patient Education Administrator in the provision of an effective general administrative/clerical service to the wider clinical team
Works within a clear framework of delegated tasks with supervision available
Working within the multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, Podiatrist, Dietitians, Health Psychologists, Management and Admin/Clerical staff.
Under instruction from the Admin/Secretarial leads, work as part of the wider team to provide ad-hoc reception cover within the Diabetes Centre during periods of absence

To ensure efficient coordination of all Patient Education and Staff Training within the Diabetes Service.
To provide general clerical and administrative support to the wider Diabetes & Endocrinology Service under the direction of the Diabetes Administrator / Patient Education Administrator.
